About ExxerStudioVR

ExxerStudioVR is a Virtual Reality (VR) application designed for Meta Quest devices, including Quest 3, Quest 3S, and future compatible devices.

The application allows users to connect to Node-RED servers and interact with industrial equipment through customizable interfaces configured using JSON definitions.

Features include:

• Monitoring industrial equipment and processes;
• Displaying customized HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces);
• Sending commands to connected equipment through Node-RED;
• Reading QR Codes using mixed reality capabilities;
• Triggering events and notifications to external systems.

Information We Collect

To provide access to the platform, Exxer collects and stores only the information necessary for authentication and account management.

This information may include:

• Email address;
• Password credentials (stored securely);
• Authentication PIN, when applicable;
• User role information (Administrator, Teacher, or Student).

ExxerStudioVR does not collect personal information for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes.

How We Use Information

Mixed Reality and Camera Usage

ExxerStudioVR uses device camera and passthrough capabilities exclusively to provide mixed reality features and QR Code recognition.

Images and environmental data processed by these features are not stored by Exxer and are not used to identify users.

Node-RED and External Systems

The application communicates with Node-RED instances and external industrial systems configured by users or organizations.

Data displayed within the application originates from those external systems and remains under the responsibility of their respective operators.

Data Storage

Authentication information is stored on Exxer-managed servers exclusively for account validation and access management purposes.

Exxer does not store camera images, QR Code scans, industrial process data, or environmental information captured by the device.

Data Sharing

Exxer does not sell, rent, or share users' personal information with third parties.

Information is only processed as necessary to provide authentication and platform access.

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
